KSNN Goes High Tech (above)
2007 has seen some incredible advances with our KSNN family. We appreciate all of the support and feedback that we have received from our viewers and look foreword to our new fall launch.
Starting in September 2007 KSNN will experience an enormous growth that will take us to several markets across the United States. Utilizing a network of LPTV's and must carries, KSNN's programming will cover local and regional events so that our broadcast brings the action of your home town athletes directly to you as well as national events of interest, such as Major League Gaming's (MLG) ongoing professional video game tournaments. With the support of major sponsors, they produce a pro tour, now in its 5th year, that makes stops in major cities across the United States, all of which will be televised on national TV. They've signed the best gamers in the world to exclusive deals. They're producing a variety of online and broadcast-quality programming that will be distributed on the USA Network, through the Boost Mobile network, and on their website, to showcase the MLG pros and this exciting new sports entertainment phenomenon.
Through some of these networks KSNN will take advantage of Verizon's Fios and AT&T's U-Verse broadcast platforms. Fiber optic power lets us deliver 100% digital picture, room shaking sound and so much more. Once you've got Fios TV, you will never want to go back to cable or satellite. Both of these power house companies in the area of internet and cell phones are making an enormous push into the television market providing original and entertaining content. Enjoy a crystal-clear picture along with digital video recording (DVR), Video on Demand, High Def, and choice programming all at a competitive price!
AT&T's service provides cutting-edge DVR that records four programs at the same time and can be programmed remotely! With DVR, get the power to pause, replay, and record live TV. Determine your own instant replays, pause your TV show to refill your popcorn, or go out to dinner with your family while your favorite movie is being recorded.
Providing our KSNN viewers with this level of flexibility is truly revolutionary, says Joe Castro, KSNN's National Programming Representative. "There are many networks around the country that can experience a resurgence in their local programming where viewers can tune in and see a quality sports program featuring local teams and stories of national interest."
KSNN began its broadcast in 2005 on Adelphia. Shortly afterward, Adelphia was purchased in a bankruptcy sale to Time Warner Cable, Inc. KSNN continued in the following months to air on additional platforms such as Direct TV and Dish TV. "We believe that these new platforms and the national expansion process taking place with KSNN will be attractive to sponsors and advertisers alike. KSNN is a valuable product for those interested in getting their products in front of families with children and disposable income, said Brian Strausberg, KSNN's COO.
