The NJB Stars 10 & Under Girls Basketball Team Wins the AAU National Championships!

The NJB Stars girls 10 & under team wins for the 2nd year in a row, making them back to back national champions. This year the AAU National Championships was held at the Wide World of Sports complex in Orlando FL. The girls had a record of 8-0 and beat the Maryland Flames 35-22 in the championship game. The team was coached by Russell McClurg HBHS and assisted by Michelle Ito, Dr. Xavier Velasco, & Dr. Lisa Velasco. The players consist of — Taylor Bolden, Sabrina Callahan, Arica Carter, Cydney Collins, Justyce Dawson, Khalia Lark, Jada Mathew, Amy Ogren, Julia Tims, Andree Velasco, Bianca Velasco, & Amy Yoshinaga
